Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Female Urologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County is a 639-bed acute care teaching hospital located in Central Brooklyn. Among our highly specialized programs are a Level I Trauma Center, Pediatric Emergency Room, Level 3 Perinatal Center, Heart Health Center, Stroke Center, Sickle Cell Program, Behavioral Health Center, and Diabetes Education Center of Excellence. Many of our programs have received national recognition, including our cardiac, stroke and diabetes services. The hospital offers a broad array of primary and specialty care, including practices in neuroscience, orthopedics, urology and cardiology. Annually, our ambulatory care practices see well over 500,000 visits, and more than 150,000 visits in the Behavioral Health outpatient program, in addition to close to 23,000 inpatient discharges. Welcome to Kings County Hospital (KCH) Urology! We are a county hospital setting within the vibrant Urology residency training program and medical school of SUNY Downstate, and serving the amazing patient population of Central Brooklyn. We are in search of a fellowship trained expert in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery – to offer excellent subspecialty care to the many patients within our community and beyond who need this essential care. You would also have the opportunity to practice general Urology alongside the three fellowship-trained Urologists at KCH.

Your colleagues would be a urologic oncologist, robotic surgeon, and endourologist – a collegial environment with the “newest” member having worked here for 5 years and planning another 25+! We prioritize excellent patient care, top notch outcomes, and quality of life for both ourselves and our patients. At Kings County Hospital, you have the opportunity to teach residents from PGY 1 to 5 in the Urology department, be involved in the OB/GYN department residency teaching as well, and become as involved as you desire in the medical school. We have a busy clinic and OR schedule – NPs supplement physicians in clinic, and two robotic PAs work alongside us in the OR. Call is typically 1 week every 5, with residents. A PA within the Urology department is specifically dedicated to streamlining the patients’ pre-operative workup and surgical scheduling, and a research fellow at SUNY Downstate is available to assist with research coordination if you lean toward academic medicine. The computer system at the hospital is Epic. We invite newly fellowship trained graduates to a supportive environment, and equally welcome a seasoned urogynecologist to augment our rapidly growing department.
