IVF Florida is the premier provider of compassionate and patient focused fertility & reproductive services, with utmost integrity and concern, delivered through a dedicated, diverse and expert team of physicians, scientists and staff. The IVF Nurse works collaboratively within the Nursing Department and with the total program to provide timely, proficient, patient-centered services for all patients, supporting physicians' treatment plan. Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members providing physical and psychological support to patients.

This is a full time opportunity working Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30pm in our Margate, FL office.

How You'll Contribute:

We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Fertility 3rd party Nurse is responsible for:

Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and patients’ families Counsels patients on initial visits regarding ART and infertility treatment and coordinates treatment Assists with coordination of recipient/donor treatment plans in conjunction with clinical protocols Assists with coordination of some surrogate and embryo donation treatment plans in conjunction with clinical protocols Communicates physician orders and instructions Communicates laboratory results with appropriate interpretation and explanation Responsible for monitoring of post-treatment follow-up Assists the physician to resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies

What You'll Bring:

The skills and education we need are:

RN (2 year degree program) or LPN required. Minimum of 2 years of related work experience; healthcare experience preferred  Current state RN or LPN license without limitations required Minimum 3 years’ experience in women’s health care required and minimum 1 year IVF experience preferred Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy along with a patient orientation
