What is the opportunity?
Supports day-to-day banking activities by providing information and assistance to clients and internal organizations. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.
What will you do ?
Manage FIC Canada trade allocations and confirmations for RBC DS Inc.
Assist Associate Director of Canadian Fixed Income Operations
Assist FIC Trade Support and provide backup for vacations and absences
Assist other AD’s, Managers and Supervisors within Capital Markets Operations and CWM Ops
Efficiently manage the daily processing, confirmation and allocation of fixed income securities for FIC Canada
Process client trade allocations in Front Office system Bloomberg TOMS
Send client trade confirmations
Daily review of failed trade reporting, ensuring follow up on outstanding items
Assist Director Canadian Fixed Income Operations on special projects
Match allocations via CTM
Follow up and resolve outstanding and unsettled trades
What do you need to succeed?
Must Haves:
Understanding of all the different processing flows within the department
Understanding of how the processing flows within the department affect other departments and down stream systems
Extensive knowledge of Canadian Securities clearance
Extensive knowledge of internal systems including: TOMS HALO, SALESBOOK , ADP/BTS, ICI Impact
Strong communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Preferred skills:
Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and other Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) courses
Post Secondary Education/Degree
Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel
