The Fiduciary Portfolio oversight manager is responsible for managing a team of specialists in their oversight of the compliance of Collective Investment Schemes. The oversight manager is expected to be a subject matter expert within the Collective Investment Schemes Industry and able to draw on his/her knowledge and experience to manage the investment compliance program within Trustee Services, supporting the development and maintenance of procedures while building strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Draw on in-depth CIS knowledge to support team members in resolving complex regulatory queriesMake use of strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret complex dataWork independently while building and maintaining a strong team presenceBuild sound relationships based on trust and openness, ensuring effective communication with both internal and external stakeholdersEngineer and leverage processes and technologies to meet customer and business needsMaintain a high level of integrity and professionalism

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Have a Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk, Investment Management of related fieldPost graduate qualification such as CFA, FRM, CAIA or similarHave 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a managerial levelCape Town based or willing to relocate to Cape Town
