As a result, we are continuously licensing and/or acquiring new products and solutions aimed at addressing the essential needs of consumers, patients, and healthcare partners. **Position Overview** Reporting directly to the Director, Field Access- The Field Access Manager (FAM) drives market access for Treosulfan, ensuring hospital and transplant centers secure formulary and electronic medical record (EMR) access while managing the pharmacy ordering and reimbursement process. Acting as a key liaison between healthcare stakeholders and Medexus teams, the FAM educates Pharmacy Directors, BMT Pharmacists, and C-suite executives on the product’s value proposition and Health Economics and Outcomes research (HEOR) insights. This role requires deep market access expertise, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to navigate complex reimbursement landscapes to ensure seamless patient access to Treosulfan. **Position Responsibilities** + Negotiate and secure access for treosulfan on hospital/IDN formularies and EMRs, managing all aspects of pharmacy ordering and stocking. + Serve as the primary lead and point-of-contact that will manage access issues by assisting hospitals and transplant centers in resolving ordering, delivery, payer denials or coding and billing issues by coordinating with BMT centers and triaging to the appropriate Medexus team member (payer teams, FRM teams, and/or MSL teams). + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and national payer landscapes, including medical policies and utilization management criteria, by collaborating with Medexus payer, MSL, and FRM teams. + Educate hospital Pharmacy Directors, BMT Pharmacists, and key stakeholders on treosulfan’s HEOR/value proposition. + Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (including C-suite executives) within oncology hospitals, transplant centers, and IDNs. + Develop and execute target account plans to maximize treosulfan uptake, collaborating with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to ensure alignment with company objectives. + Deploy resources within targeted accounts effectively, including the Budget Impact Model, HEOR financial value story, formulary kits, AMCP Dossier, and FRM/HUB tools as needed. + Introduce and highlight FRM team capabilities and resources, including reimbursement support, payer expertise, and tools for precertification and appeals. + Monitor market trends, payer landscapes, and regulatory shifts to anticipate challenges and adjust strategies accordingly. + Provide timely communication of relevant information to internal and external stakeholders. + Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress against access goals, adjusting strategies as required. + Conduct all activities in alignment with regulatory and compliance standards, adhering to company policies. + Represent the company at key industry events, including market access and oncology conferences/congresses, as appropriate. **Education, Experience & Skill Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD) are preferred. + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a field-based role within the biopharmaceutical industry, specifically in market access, reimbursement, or payer relations. + Proven experience in rare diseases, hematology, or oncology is strongly preferred. + In-depth knowledge of payer landscape, reimbursement processes, and specialty pharmacy distribution models. + Must have experience working with a pharmaceutical product that is used inpatient and reimbursed under a DRG or Case Rate. + Must have experience working with a pharmaceutical product that is used outpatient and reimbursed as a medical benefit. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence diverse stakeholders. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex reimbursement scenarios and identify solutions. + Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong organizational skills. + Ability to coordinate and lead other internal matrix teams to facilitate patient and provider access to treosulfan. + Proficiency in CRM systems and other tools used to track and manage field activities. + Willingness to travel extensively as needed to support field activities. **Additional Information** **Travel** : up to 70% **Location:** Remote- must live near Northeast or Southeast airport hub **Compensation Range:** $175,000 - $225,000 We recognize that experience comes in many forms.
