Field Account Manager, Consumer Drug Take Back
Working with guidance from a manager and the team, the Field Account Manager on the Consumer Drug Take Back (CDTB) team serves as the main point of contact for assigned host sites and works to ensure their satisfaction with our CDTB program.

The Field Account Manager will be responsible for the account management, maintenance and ongoing business development related to Inmar’s CDTB program.  The CDTB program consists of multiple consumer drug  disposal options in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. 

The Field Account Manager will be responsible for establishing relationships with all types of host sites that are included in our programs across the west coast, and will ensure successful participation in programs associated with compliant drug collection.  This person will be responsible for visiting customer sites, documenting the success of those site visits in the assigned CRM tool, assisting with training at these customer sites, and will be responsible for ensuring that each customer site participates in the program in a compliant and required manner.  Examples of customer sites include but are not limited to medical clinics, town halls, law enforcement facilities, hospitals and independent pharmacies.  The person in this role will need to be comfortable with communicating with client contacts at all types of the above sites.  

The candidate will need to be located in the Sacramento, California area and be willing to travel overnight 75% of the time. (Monday through Friday)

This person will be asked to travel approximately 75% of the time.  The intent would be for this person to travel around their assigned region for at least three weeks of each month.  It will be expected that this person will be comfortable developing relationships, speaking in front of groups, dealing with rejection and turning that rejection into a potential future customer site, and dealing with a significant amount of independence.  

A typical day-to-day would involve visiting a few client sites, training new employees, on-boarding and off-boarding if needed, and attempting to acquire new sites in geographic areas as directed by management.  The person in this role will be responsible for documenting all aspects of their work in a specifically directed way and should expect that their work product will be visible to senior leadership as well as external regulatory stakeholders. 

The Field Account Manager owns the client relationship relative to CDTB services once the contract has been signed and proactively engages and manages their expectations for the program.  This role is responsible for successfully onboarding the client and establishing appropriate connections internally with operations support teams.  

Primary Accountabilities: 

Operational Management (70%)

Visit customer sites to conduct auditing, training and documentation checks

Develop relationships with customer sites and cultivate those relationships for successful participation in the program

Act as the primary point of contact for the client and internal teams related to CDTB services.

Plan and execute a successful client visit and auditing process; manage communications and troubleshoot issues to resolution.

Understand each client’s goals, challenges, marketing objectives & strategies for CDTB.

Assist clients with ordering and/or reordering of CDTB supplies, documentation, etc.  

Become knowledgeable of the process and procedures of the program – from consumer to host site  to destruction.

Act as an expert on jurisdictional requirements related to CDTB/Product Stewardship  programs

Influence (30%)

Establish and develop trusted relationships with assigned clients.

Collaborate with other internal teams as it relates to the overall client experience of our clients.

Encourage site participation through multiple CDTB offerings

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

2-4 years of related work experience, preferably in supply chain/logistics or food/drug manufacturing; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position

Willing and able to travel 75% of the time overnight Monday through Friday

Project management experience, a plus

Proficient with G-Suite and Microsoft Office specifically Excel

Beginner with Salesforce.

The hiring range for this job is $70000 - $85000 and the salary can fluctuate based on geographic location and qualifications. Pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. This role includes an opportunity for company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Company Bonus Plan.
