We are seeking an Field Application Engineer, Israel with a strong technical background, customer-focused mindset, and experience with Test & Measurement equipment. Your main tasks will be: + Provide technical consulting assistance to customers on their test requirements in data center, radar, automotive, energy and semiconductor applications by presenting and demonstrating technology solutions to customers, including all hardware, software and service offerings. + Consult on and support our customers in the creation of optimized software routines in automation scenarios for our customers + Ensure installation, training, and acceptance of solutions into our customers’ workflows, and give continuing technical support to these systems + Support the investigation and understanding of our competitors and how to sell against them using our unique value + Support the training to internal sales associates and our partner network + Work with account management teams to build intimate relationship with our key accounts by delivering world-class technical consultation to our customers + Assist marketing objectives by leveraging domain knowledge to deliver both virtual and face-to-face marketing content + Become well versed in the full Tektronix portfolio offering and work closely with sales partners to identify all possible business opportunities across performance, mainstream, & entry scopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: + Technical Degree e.g. Electronic Engineering or similar field with a strong knowledge of Test & Measurement and/or automotive and/or power electronics and/or semiconductors + Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, etc. + Knowledge of automotive test and applications associated with IVN, ADAS, EV and Body + Nice to have knowledge of programming languages and instrumentation control (i. e. Matlab, Python, C++/C#) + Either knowledge of compliance test measurements standards: MIPI; DisplayPort, Ethernet 1000Base-T x, USB x, HMDI x, DDR x, PCIe x, and/or RF standards The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate the following: + Willingness to work with customers + Good communication and presentation skills + Ability to work independently and with little supervision + Flexibility and mobility within Israel.
