Advanced Cell Diagnostics has an exciting opportunity for a Field Application Scientist in the US Midwest region. The Field Application Scientist serves as a regional technical contact in supporting ACDs full assay platform. **Key Responsibilities:** + Provide application assistance, product training and system troubleshooting for Advanced Cell Diagnostics scientific product lines via phone, email and on-site visits. + Occasionally organize, schedule, and conduct product demonstrations, deliver presentations at customer sites and conferences. + Some technical writing in preparation of protocols, application notes and user guides may be requested. + The FAS role is an Important active liaison role with Sales, Marketing, R&D and timely customer feedback from the field is critical. **Qualifications:** **Education and Experience:** + Bachelor's Degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or similar discipline with 5 years of laboratory experience with experimental design, cell and molecular techniques and reagents for IHC, ISH, Imaging. + **OR** + MS or PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry or similar discipline with 3 years of laboratory experience with experimental design, cell and molecular techniques and reagents for IHC, ISH, Imaging. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Fluorescence microscopy experience highly preferred + Region includes MI, IN, OH, KY, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, KS, NE, SD & ND. Candidate residing near Chicago, St Louis, Detroit or another major airport would be ideal. + This position does not provide relocation.
