We are looking for a Field Applications Engineer (FAE) who has the right mix of technical prowess and business savvy and can confidently identify, select, source, win, and support new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be able to quickly respond and support our salespeople with their customer’s technical issues while also finding and driving new opportunities on their own.  The ideal candidate should be able to quickly learn the company’s sales support systems to confidently search for new leads to pursue with or without the responsible account manager.

In this role, you will visit Mexico City, Queretaro, Toluca, Pachuca, Cuernavaca, and Puebla.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

Spend most of your time with customers to influence component selection.Use advanced understanding of customer needs and technical leadership to champion return on engineering investment.Manage supplier and customer expectations by building and developing relationships, keeping stakeholders updated on activities, plans, and initiatives.Grow your account base each quarter.Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs and leveraging Arrow’s engineering resources to facilitate customer solutions.Identify solutions and address customer design needs and issues.Monitor performance metrics throughout the quarter, taking corrective action as needed.Present technical seminars and workshops for supplier lines.Provide frequent updates and motivate the field sales team regarding supplier lines.Partner with the sales team in pre- and post-sales activities, offering technical support and consulting to promote demand creation.Attend and actively participate in strategic branch meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).Develop and drive strategic technical plans by supplier line or customer solutions, and organize engineering customer events.Meet with suppliers to review customer design activity and identify compelling solutions to promote.Attend supplier trainings both in person and via conference calls.

What We're Looking For

Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with system/board/engineering solutions and electronic components.Breadth of knowledge of electronic components.Experience with design engineering.Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.Advanced English skills.Stays up-to-date on supplier products and arrow design services in order to act as a technical-marketing advisor to customersThis position must travel at least twice per month within Mexico.

Fully Remote: 0 days in the office. Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$48,741.67 - $72,679.17 MXN Monthly

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
