YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Administrate resources to carry out nursery and ICB planting, pollination and harvest to secure quality, in-time in-full seed returns. Take lead responsibility for field mapping, planting, plot identification, harvesting, data collection and data management with internal IT systems. Complete and/or participate in safety inspections/training and comply with all company policies, code of conduct and standard operating procedures.Follow up the work Instructions and participate in QMS Internal Audit.Supervise and train contractors and seasonal employees on standard operating procedures and tool operations. Collaborate with team members to deliver detailed experimental protocols that enable advancement decisions by pipelines, breeders, and scientists. Provide timely reports on nursery and ICB progress particularly notify supervisors of any significant deviation from plan. Establish strong relationships and connections with local and international stakeholders.Implement strategies that strengthen commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement for the process. Travel up to 15% of the time particularly during peak seasons.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

University degree in biological sciences, Agronomic engineering, or related sciences, MSc is a plus.1 – 2 years of experience with seed technology industry, plant breeding, agronomy industry or related.Experience with standard MS Office and at least one software used in scientific data analysis, with ability to quickly learn new software programs and tools.Intermediate English proficiency.Self-motivated person with good communication, relationships and Networks. Data analysis Knowledge.
