Atlantic Health System is searching for a well-qualified Field Athletic Trainer II for their Sports Medicine location. The ideal candidate will have their NJ AT License, and have experience in working with schools and sports teams as an Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities will include:

Autonomy  May work independently, alongside team members, or under the supervision of a team member  Makes decisions regarding own work, guided by previous experience Serves as lead on daily tasks and cases Clinical Skill Level  Performs moderately complex clinical activities and leads patient care activities Manages an athlete load of 200+ Initiate athletic training interventions which includes prevention, recognition, evaluation, rehabilitation, and recovery of injuries Provide emergency care and crisis management for sports-related injuries Provide services to meet the demands of the department including on nights and weekends Provide referrals to appropriate community resources Admin Responsibilities  May supervise a Level I team member(s)  Liaison between physicians, coaches, parents, and athletes Injury reporting and documentation  Models/mentors and trains junior staff  Assists with policy development at their medical service agreement assignment  Observes and identifies program improvement areas at their medical service agreement assignment  Other responsibilities or needs of the department as assigned
