Job Scope


The Field Audit Supervisor oversees a team of Field Auditors, ensuring inventory audits are accurate, timely, and policy-compliant. This role includes coordinating, planning, and executing field physical inventory audits, with final reconciliations posted in the ERP system. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, resolving discrepancies, forecasting financial impacts, and preparing audit findings for senior leadership. Effective communication with sales leadership, ISCs, Sales Reps, and Finance is critical to managing the audit process.

Duties/Responsibilities

Lead the Field Audit team, providing guidance, training, and support.Conduct physical inventory audits across the US as needed.Maintain strong communication with US/International Sales Management, ISCs, and Distributors.Ensure inventory control and traceability across locations.Monitor and improve the cost, accuracy, and efficiency of reconciliations.Address inventory discrepancies with sales and operations teams.Manage the audit schedule and future planning/forecasting.Develop, document, and maintain audit policies, procedures, and SOPs.Monitor team performance on workflow timeliness, quality, and accuracy.Participate in budgeting and track expenses against budgets.Analyze and improve departmental efficiency while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, plus 5+ years in inventory management or audit procedures (or equivalent experience).Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.Knowledge of inventory/auditing principles and general accounting/internal controls.Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience required (SAP preferred).Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams.High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.Experience in developing metrics, policies, and procedures.Excellent communication and independent work skills.
