Field Based Clinical Quality Consultant – Las Vegas, NV

Under general supervision, assists with development and management for patient experience projects and programs. Provides program management support, team consultation, and small-scale improvement project facilitation, data analysis, synthesis, reporting and evaluation, and coordination/ facilitation of program-based education or training.

Program content focus may include patient experience, HOS/CAHPS performance, provider and team communication, and approaches to improving work processes and standard work. Evaluate, analyze and manage data related to service quality and patient experience. Plans, organizes, and executes education programs for care providers, their teams, and network engagement partners.

This position is full-time. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm PST, Monday – Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 2716 N Tenaya Way Las Vegas, NV.

This will be on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

Program and Project Management Support and Targeted Improvement Project Facilitation: Serves as a subject matter expert for quality and patient experience programs, project management and foundational lean improvement application to improve workflow and build reliable methods Facilitates and supports improvement, including development of work plans, timelines, project support and documentation Recommends policy and procedure changes to improve patient care Builds best practice models and tools to share across the network that would be flexible for regional partners May review/develop policies/procedures/guidelines/standard work in collaboration with operations and as needed by the Quality Department Coordination / Facilitation of Program Based Education or Training: Plans, coordinates, and organizes education programs or training for physicians and clinical staff as needed May provide training and consultation on program content including lean principles, methods and tools. Facilitate and support the Clinic’s clinical initiatives utilizing lean principles, methods and tools Data Analysis, Synthesis, Reporting and Evaluation: Assists to supports teams to identify appropriate project measurement and monitors, trends, and utilizes data to drive quality, patient safety and process improvement Collaborates with the quality department data analysts and Information Technology Department, or other support departments as needed, to provide relevant reports or information to complete project tasks

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age OR Older 5+ years of Clinical LPN experience Currently Licensed LPN in State of NV Current BLS Certification Experience navigating and working in an electronic medical record system Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as internet Must have reliable form of transportation Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service Ability to work our normal business hours of 7:30am – 4:30pm PST, Monday – Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime

 

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of Health Care experience preferably related to programs managed (i.e., patient experience, clinical quality or infection control and prevention) 1+ years of experience leveraging Lean methodology 1+ years background in healthcare industry and managed care

 

The hourly range for this role is $28.61 to $56.06 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
