Field Clinical Engineer II, Endotronix

The Field Clinical Engineer II is a key role at Endotronix, dedicated to supporting patients in troubleshooting and use of the Cordella System and managing installs and maintenance on our Calibration Equipment at hospitals. In addition, the Field Clinical Engineer II will support recalibrations and assist in field troubleshooting and device replacements as needed. In this role, communication and interpersonal skills are crucial as you will be engaging with physicians, hospital personnel, and patients daily. You will also collaborate with Endotronix’s internal team to problem-solve and enhance customer experience. **How you will make an impact:** + Perform installation, maintenance, repair, calibration, software updates, and interference scans on the Calibration Equipment at hospitals. + Perform troubleshooting, replacements, software updates, and interference scans on patient devices. + Perform recalibrations during follow-up right heart catheterizations. + Lead meetings with internal departments to find root-cause of field issues. + Perform in-house training for clinical specialists and new field clinical engineers on field service procedures. + Provide technical support to other field staff as needed. + Work with the clinical development and sales teams to schedule hospital visits for the calibration installation and maintenance in a timely manner. + Document all field service work utilizing proper GDMP skills. + Coordinate with the Clinical Development Manager, R&D, and Clinical Specialists on field issues and resolutions. + Maintain spare part/trunk stock inventory. + Oversee all field service activities and records. + Update or provides input to field service procedures as needed. **What you'll need (Required):** + 3+ years of medical device field experience + Bachelor's degree in engineering preferably biomedical engineering + Able to lift 50 lbs + Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time + Ability to demonstrate a high level of motivation to excel and a great desire to help others + Able to apply engineering skills and abilities to interpret and solve problems + Ability to develop and implement new strategies and procedures **What else we look for (Preferred):** + Must be highly organized and able to establish priorities + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal + Must be able to work independently and collaboratively + Remain composed under stress + Able to work in a dynamic and quickly changing environment + Comfortable taking on responsibilities as needed For Illinois (IL), the base pay range for this position is $72,000 to $102,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
