Field Compensation Care Professional

      

This position serves as the primary contact for field members and home office personnel on Financial Associate (FA) revenue, commissions, incentives and production credit issues. Incumbent provides information, guidance, counseling and support to Thrivent’s field organization in the areas of compensation policy and administration, relationship management policy (customer/client assignment), the calculation and reporting of commissions and production credit, and bonus programs. The incumbent in this role will be responsible to explain all appropriate commission calculations, production credit calculations, and bonus payments.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responds to phone and email inquiries from the field with the appropriate level of diplomacy and compassion.Manages all service contacts in a prompt, efficient manner while giving accurate, thorough, and detailed responses.Effectively researches and problem-solves compensation/production credit issues and concerns raised by Financial Professionals.Counsels and coaches Financial Professionals and their administrative staff on relationship management policy, compensation policy, field bonus programs, commission and production credit calculations and reporting.Partners with other home office departments and Advisor Group management to resolve individual FA compensation and credit issues.Promptly makes compensation and production credit adjustments as necessary, ensuring that payday or reporting period cut-off dates are met.Administers split compensation requests from the field staff.Performs various data entry functions around non-automated processes, including licensing errors, risk replacement activity, money movement activity, and nonproprietary commission statements.Models Thrivent’s leadership competencies – Model the Way, Rally the Team, and Deliver Outcomes.  ​Supports and/or develops an environment in which Thrivent employees and colleagues are focused on continuous improvement, exceptional employee engagement, and an unwavering commitment to our clients.  Shapes and/or supports a culture that represents the Thrivent purpose, promise and values, ensuring that Thrivent’s trust and reputation remain strong with its clients.  

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:  

 Required:

High School diploma.1 to 2 years related work experience.Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.Comfort in interpreting and applying general program guidelines.Strong data entry skills.Comfort with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel.Ability to facilitate and respond effectively to customer inquiries.Ability to deal with confidential, controversial and sensitive interactions with field members.Ability to work independently at times in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, driven by payday deadlines.Ability to effectively navigate through various mainframe and LAN based systems including the Customer Information File, Thrivent’s Image system and the compensation system.

Preferred: 

Understanding of the Thrivent Financial field revenue program.Understanding of the Thrivent Financial product portfolio, including non-proprietary products.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $20.88 - $28.25 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
