What you’ll do as a Field Electrician Helper Work safely, with or without supervision Use of hand tools, ladders, and equipment to assist in the completion of an assigned project Organize workload to determine priority of duties Follow instructions and communicate verbally and in writing Completion of daily production reports to document work performed Completion of low level labor intensive tasks in support of an assigned department/project Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and work areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations Assist in the install of new electrical systems and repair old ones Assist in the layout and assembling of electrical system according to blueprints Assist in preventative and regular maintenance on electrical systems Carryout the installation of cable trays and grounding work Cut and formed wires to fit into panel Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems as and when required Excellent manual dexterity Work comfortably in cramped and/or enclosed spaces for extended periods Work standing, at shoulder height and overhead, for extended periods Additional Duties as assigned IND1 What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company You must have knowledge of conduit bending, wire pulling, terminating electrical panels You must have knowledge of reading blueprints and wiring schematics You are able to maintain a safe work environment You are experienced with working in commerical environment on electricity You are procifient with using hand tools and equipment You may able to read and understand work orders, safety rules and operating instructions You may have previous construction or utility construction experience Remote work may be required; long driving and sitting will be required Additional qualifications (if applicable) You are able to work in all weather conditions You are able to work over-time; after hours; on weekends, for emergencies or on-call You have a valid standard Driver's License or a Class A Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement You have an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: Work in remote locations and in confined spaces with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus potentially near and/or far as needed. Occasionally: Employees may be exposed to toxic or corrosive chemicals as well as moving machinery parts and pieces.
