What You'll Be Doing:

Tier-1 support for the deployed VIPER system at a CONUS customer siteSupport site surveys to collect data for successful system deployment planning and executionPerform Preventive Maintenance, Checks, and Services (PMCS) to ensure optimal system performancePerform corrective diagnostics, investigation, root cause analysis, and guided repairsParticipate in testing and evaluation of software and hardware at the development and test location (Dahlgren, VA)Execute both software and hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and replacementProvide technical support to the development team and subcontractors for remote problem resolution

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years of experience in field engineering or technical support roles (FSR or ideally with Integrated Hardware/Software System).Proficiency in hardware and software maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of complex systemsComfortable with basic troubleshooting of Windows, networking, and applicationsExperience with component operations and troubleshooting (electrical, coolant systems, computing H/W and S/W)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysisAbility to work professionally with the U.S. government end userAbility to work independently with reach-back support as neededWillingness to travel up to 50%

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

An active "Secret" security clearance.Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Knowledge of government contracting processes and proceduresFamiliarity with Windows administration and general cybersecurity policiesPrior U.S Coast Guard or Navy experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 - $151,700.00
