Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for highly motivated  Field Engineer to join our team in project in Leadville, CO. Responsibilities/Duties: + Receive, review, forward and track status of submittals. +  Assist in management of project permit process. + Assist is preparation of bid packages and procurement. +  Receive and review change orders. +  Assist more senior civil engineers with entry level engineering tasks. +  Assist with performing onsite construction administration and construction observation services including reporting/monitoring contractor's compliance with contract documents. + Evaluates change order requests including design changes, specifications and drawing + releases and reports status. +  Evaluates submittals of shop drawings, material data and samples and takes appropriate action based upon contract specifications. +  Reviews and processes as-built drawings to ensure that all changes during the course + of construction are recorded. + Completes project close out requirements in accordance with contract documents. + Coordinates meeting agendas, prepares minutes and follows up on action items. + Maintains effective and professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers + and contractors. + Executes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.      PAY: $65,000-$75,000 Qualifications: + Construction/related degree. +  Excellent computer skills and analytical ability. + Experience working with Primavera P6, AutoCAD. Understanding of industrial construction process. + Prefer - Experience in civil infrastructure. + Must have ability to interpret contract specifications and drawings.  Knowledge of contract procedures and principles. +  Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment. +  Ability to understand construction logic and sequencing of complex projects.
