Job Title: Field Engineer
Job Description

We are looking for a Field Engineer to inspect job sites in the metro area prior to contractors beginning reconstruction projects. The Field Engineer will use instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping, marking their locations on the ground and within software programs. These updates will be sent back to the team at the office to update maps and blueprints.

ResponsibilitiesInspect various job sites in the metro area before contractors begin digging for reconstruction.Utilize instruments and equipment to detect underground sewer systems and water piping.Mark the location of detected systems both on the ground and within software programs.Send updated information to the office team to update maps and blueprints.Essential SkillsExperience in the telecom, cable, GIS, or utility industries.0-1 year of utility experience.0-1 year of experience in surveying or locating.Field engineering experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience working with blueprints or maps (preferred but not required).Comfortable working outside in different weather conditions (preferred).Work Environment

This role involves working around the metro area and outdoors. The Field Engineer will ride with another team member to job sites and work collaboratively on projects. The workday typically starts at the Woodbury office around 7:00am, though start times may vary depending on the site location. Candidates must be comfortable working in various environments and conditions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00
