Field Engineer
Job Title: Field EngineerJob Description Develop HVAC layouts using design documents and equipment submittal data for field application. Review plans in Revit & AutoCAD. Conduct fieldwork with specialized instruments to measure and adjust air and water flow rates for HVAC systems (air and water balancing). Collaborate with design engineers to address and resolve issues. Compile data for final test result reports. Essential Skills + Proficiency in HVAC systems and DDC control systems. + Experience with Revit and AutoCAD. + Strong communication abilities. + Competence in using Microsoft Office products. + Proficiency in mathematics. + Attention to detail and organization in paperwork, with clear and neat handwriting. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Preferably has an associate's degree in an engineering-related field. Work Environment Onsite in the CR/IC area on projects, primarily in K-12 and health care. The role involves reporting to a Project Manager on location and does not require working in a physical office space. The company provides a secure market with opportunities for growth, including promotion to Project Manager roles. A company vehicle is provided, and once direct, 90% of insurance costs are covered. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
