THE OPPORTUNITY

The Field Finance Intern willhave the opportunity to work with our Finance, Ops, Accounting, and other cross functional teams to help analyze financial data and assist in making strategic decisions. In addition to this opportunity they will have the opportunity to learn and assist with monthly KPI reporting andconduct ad hoc financial data analysis through financial modeling used to drive insights into the restaurant performance. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Job duties will include but are not limited to: 

Exposure to financial analysis, strategic finance, financial reporting, month-end close, internal controls, analytics, technical accounting, and new business launches

Build financial / accounting skills and leverage learnings to take on guided project(s)

Ad-hoc financial and non-financial analysis 

Ongoing performance analysis compared to plan & forecast

Identifying & pursuing opportunities for increased profitability or efficiency

Support Operations and Finance teams to bring the team’s strategic vision to fruition

Support Field Finance, FP&A and Facilities teams on ad hoc financial analyses

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

Currently earning a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills

Have exceptional Excel skills and technical aptitude for systems and applications

Have an intellectual curiosity and strong desire to learn

Be able to troubleshoot, research test, and resolve systems issues

Effectively manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

Manage financial data in a confidential and professional manner

Inventory and/or labor management experience in the restaurant industry is a plus

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $18.75–$23.81. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
