This position will work closely with project teams on the construction of Ontario’s first small modular nuclear reactor.
The primary responsibility will be to support the project in execution and performance as well as delivering a high-level, front-line HR service.

LocationThe position will be based on our project in Darlington, ON. The successful candidate will be local to Darlington, Oshawa or surrounding areas, or willing to relocate.
Responsibilities Support a project work force planning program ensuring the project is staffed with the most qualified personnel. Work closely with the recruiting team and support interview scheduling Support on-boarding process to ensure consistent messaging across the project. Provide expert guidance to management in the areas of performance management, employee relations and career development. Leverage HR dashboards, reports and data to drive business decisions and tactics. Support execution of employee performance programs and expectations to maximize workforce productivity. Monitor workforce engagement for trends that require action to ensure high employee morale and retention. Lead the development of HR related strategies and ensure implementation and execution. Act as a liaison with HR Shared Services to ensure the delivery of support exceeds internal client needs. Provide HR support to the District HRBP Qualifications 2 + years’ experience in multiple human resources functions Bachelor in Human Resources, Business or equivalent. Be available to work five days a week on-site at the project Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships. Sound business acumen and analytical skills. Strong work ethic, willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done right the first time. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
