As a QC Field Inspector here at Honeywell Industrial Automation, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of the weatherization work being performed by our subcontractors. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and tests on field operations to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise in quality control will contribute to the overall success of our operations. You will report directly to our Quality Control Manager and you'll work throughout New Jersey.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of the work performed by our subcontractors in our customers’ homes by identifying and addressing any quality issues. You will achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors.  You will achieve revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nConduct inspections on field work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.\nIdentify and document any quality issues or non-conformities and work with the appropriate teams to address and resolve them.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures to improve quality and prevent recurrence of issues.\nMaintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and findings.\nProvide technical support and guidance to field technicians and other stakeholders.\nAudit New Jersey Comfort Partners program customer homes when required.\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in building science, weatherization retrofits or related fields.\nStrong people skills – able to interact comfortably with our customers in their homes.\nStrong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.\nValid driver’s license\n\n

\n\nExperience in the New Jersey Comfort Partners Program\nExperience in residential auditing for weatherization\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.\nBPI Certification(s)\nCertification(s) in quality control or related field.\n
