Field Installation Manager
​ + Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related field + 4+ years full-time satisfactory experience. + Review power and communication shop drawings to ensure compliance with Power & Communication Conduit and Wiring Guidelines. + Review capital and in-house construction drawings for the installation of communications infrastructure and fare payment equipment and provide comments. + Review, and provide technical support for the vendor’s installation of conduit and wires, communication and power equipment, smartcard readers, and vending machines at NYCT’s stations and buses. + Conduct Quality Assurance functions and field inspections to ensure all construction work is being performed safely and complies with all NYCT operating policies, procedures and guidelines. + Review and provide technical input for all operations and maintenance manuals associated with NFPS. + Knowledge of Civil, Electrical, and Communications standards and practices. + Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access computer applications and programs. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work in a team environment. + Knowledge of NYCT policies, operations and safety procedures, rules and regulations preferred. + Knowledge of NYCT Subway System preferred. + Need to travel to project sites located at NYCT stations, bus depots and Railroad location throughout the New York region. + Work nights and occasionally on weekends.
