**Level Descriptions:**
**Level I** – Must be able to achieve many objectives of this position. Requires some amount of timely supervision to ensure the proper tasks are being accomplished and that communication is adequate, timely, in the correct manner (i.e. verbal, written, email, etc.). Individual had a good understanding of at least one type of system within this division as well as holds a low level NICET or other industry certification.
**Level II** - Consistently achieves all the objectives of this position. This individual also provides mentoring and direct day-to-day supervision to level I positions. Has an ability to work on multiple Special Systems deliverables and has obtained mid-level NICET or other industry certifications.
**Senior** - Highly experienced in the position. Advanced awareness of the technical needs of system programming. Individual has a deep understanding of the many systems installed and maintained within the division. The individual usually has a high level NICET or other certification and is active in the industry. Provides mentoring and direct supervision when required on projects.
**Job Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Perform installation of building automation components according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
+ Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation practices and troubleshoot any potential issues.
+ Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of installations.
+ Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and ready for use.
+ Document installation processes and report any discrepancies or challenges encountered during the installation.
+ Utilize ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide guidance and support to junior team members
**Skills & Qualifications:**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ At least 2 years of experience in a construction or installation role.
+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
+ Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools
+ Basic electrical knowledge (i.e. ability to troubleshoot while wiring circuitry)
+ Experience running conduits
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ An Associate’s degree (2-year technical degree) in HVAC or Electronics-related studies.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
+ 5+ years of experience in building controls, HVAC systems, or related areas.
+ Military training, on-the-job training programs, or other equivalent technical experience, as determined by local management.
+ In-depth knowledge of DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems used in building automation.
+ Expertise in integrating multiple building systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
+ Experience with advanced troubleshooting and extensive integration support for various building systems.

**Essential Job Functions:**
+ Be able to lift and carry ladders, drawings, personal computers, material, etc.
+ Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
+ Be able to spend significant time standing and walking on construction sites.
+ Be able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day on a construction site.
+ Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Climatec’s vehicle policy, allows the individual to drive on company business.
+ Be physically able to kneel, stoop and crawl.
