About this opportunity:
As the Line Manager for FIM (Field Inventory Manager) you will coordinate and manage the Order and Delivery Manager (ODM), you will manage the end-to-end order process to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant delivery of products and services. This role requires a strong focus on supply chain optimization, order and return flow management, and coordination with both internal teams and external logistics partners. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring compliance with Ericsson’s policies and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
What you will do:
Ensure the team Enter, confirm, monitor, and close orders in ERP systems based on customer and project requirementsHandle escalations, deviations, and ensure resolution of any supply issuesCollaborate with teams, including Project Support, Inbound Supply, and Distribution, to facilitate seamless order processingArrange and monitor transport, optimizing logistics and addressing any issues promptlyProcess and manage returns, validating requests, creating return orders, and coordinating replacements or creditsEnsure adherence to OHS and other regulatory requirements across all order and delivery processesSupport automation and digitalization initiatives within order management and logistics processes
Line Manager Duties:
Team Development & Performance: Set and monitor individual and team targets, provide regular feedback, and support employee growth through coaching, skill development, and performance management.Work Environment: Foster a productive environment for individuals and teams, manage onboarding and crisis situations, ensure work-life balance, and uphold occupational health and safety standards.Resource & Financial Management: Balance resources and costs, oversee financial transactions, manage team budgets, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.Competence & Career Development: Develop team capabilities, lead talent management, facilitate job rotations, and support strategic learning initiatives.Execution & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure execution of designated tasks, build relationships with stakeholders, manage escalations, and support sales activities.
The skills you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as logistics, supply chain management) or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in order management or supply chain rolesProficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP, Mercury) and analytics toolsStrong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishFamiliarity with OHS requirements and risk assessment proceduresBehavioral strengths in following procedures, meeting customer expectations, analyzing data, and organizing tasks effectivelyCollaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams, including Project Support, Inbound Supply, and Distribution
