Brief Description:
The Field Maintenance Technician travels to field locations to perform a variety of equipment service and maintenance activities with little guidance. Activities include Electrical, Hydraulic or Mechanical troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing of equipment, documenting work performed, equipment condition and other maintenance activities. Additional duties include training and mentoring on Installation & operational level maintenance, coordinating maintenance related projects, and providing appropriate feedback to the internal or external job site manager and or maintenance management team. This position will work "On Call" on a 14/14 rotational basis. Occasional International travel may be required.
Detailed Description:
Plan appropriately to drive extended distances to rig locations and perform maintenance dutiesAssemble increasingly complex equipment/products with limited supervision according to standard operating procedures. Read, interpret and follow standard engineering drawings, specifications, bill of materials and other verbal/written work instructions/procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products. Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when required. Read and interpret assembly drawings, parts lists, operation sequence sheets and visual aids. Set up and operate a variety of machinery, tooling and test equipment; perform any rework from test failures in accordance with standard operating procedures. Verify quality of product produced in accordance with manufacturing work instructions. Complete and document all work as needed.Liaise with supervisor regarding quality or procedure problems. Rework and/or repair assembled standard equipment and products according to engineering specification changes. May have previous exposure of product lines manufactured or serviced by Warrior. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Skilled in final inspections, safety and materials handling. Maintains a clean and safe work environment; provides aid to senior shop technicians when required.Job Requirements

These position(s) require the person to work in both office locations and outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. The Technician will be occasionally exposed to the typical conditions of the local area where the drilling operations and rigs are located. The Technician must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. Also, must be able to work closely with others and under deadlines including time-sensitive response situations and be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days; and - or nights, weekends and holidays.
