Our Operations Support Team plays a critical role in supporting our clients and community in safekeeping infrastructure in residential and commercial construction areas. The Field Manager Dispatch reports directly to the Operations Director and will play a critical role in the daily operations of our region. He/She will be responsible for managing and distributing work tickets to optimize productivity of our field technicians and meet our on-time performance goals. What you’ll do… As a Field Manager Dispatch, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch operations and ensuring efficient field service delivery. You will play a critical role in managing work processes, coordinating technician assignments, and optimizing workflow to enhance operational effectiveness. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Review work tickets assigned to Damage Prevention Technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion. Manage the dispatching of emergency work to appropriate technicians. Assist operational management in prioritizing workload effectively. Address and resolve internal and external complaints in a timely manner. Proactively minimize unnecessary dispatches by analyzing tickets using available tools. Coordinate daily activities and route compliance for Damage Prevention Technicians. Communicate with Field Management to assess technician skill levels and job requirements. Provide field support to Supervisors and Technicians (15% to 25% field presence required). Develop and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency. Utilize Q-Manager, CVOR, and other tools to eliminate late tickets and meet "on-time; first-time" service objectives. Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve workflow. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance in dispatch operations. Maintain effective communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers. Analyze situations quickly and develop solutions in collaboration with the team. Apply critical thinking skills to assess problems, analyze data, and anticipate results for effective decision-making. Answer customer inquiries to ensure service satisfaction and manage escalated situations. Perform other general duties as assigned. Who we are looking for… Required skills for success: To be 18 years of age or olde Authorization to work in the United States for this company High school diploma or GED equivalency required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3–5 years of related experience in dispatch, logistics, or administrative operations required. 5–7 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, and/or field operations preferred. Proven leadership experience managing teams with 10 or more direct reports. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels. Professional demeanor in customer and employee interactions. Advanced proficiency in computer applications, including: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Google Suite Database, spreadsheet, and ticket tracking applications Mapping and zip code programs Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software relevant to the role. Experience in logistics and routing for efficiency. Physical abilities & exposures Physical abilities & exposures Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
