AMS is looking to add a **Traffic** **Control** **Field Manager** to our team! An AMS Field Manager plays a key role in overseeing operations in the field, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. This includes managing a team, ensuring high standards of performance, and providing support to staff to achieve company goals. Additionally, the manager is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and positive public interactions, all while adhering to the core values and mission of AMS. Their role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
+ Plan and execute field operations to meet project specifications and goals.
+ Monitor project progress and adjust strategies to ensure timely completion and goal achievement.
+ Effectively allocate field resources to drive project success.
+ Recruit, train, and oversee all field personnel to ensure high performance.
+ Recommend and implement succession plans to build a strong pipeline for future growth.
+ Provide leadership, guidance, and ongoing support to field teams.
+ Ensure all field operations comply with AMS quality and safety standards.
+ Conduct inspections and quality control assessments as needed.
+ Support the safety department by gathering facts related to incidents.
+ Spend at least 75% of time in the field, fostering relationships with clients and AMS employees.
+ Act as the primary point of contact between AMS and clients on job sites.
+ Address and resolve client or employee concerns to ensure satisfaction.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of field activities, including incident reports, performance reviews, and other relevant records.
**WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: **
+ Minimum 2 years in field operations, management, safety, or flagging experience required.
+ Valid US Driver’s License
+ Technical skills, such as computer skills (strong working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office), data analysis, and budget management, to oversee the operational aspects of AMS performance.
+ Willingness to work alone outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
+ Superb written and verbal communication skills.
+ Knowledge of industry specific regulations and best practices.
**WHAT WOULD BE AMAZING TO HAVE:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field.
+ Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
**Working Environment**
Working in an outdoor environment in urban and rural environments. Physical demands and travel from site to site, including walking/hiking on various surfaces including flat, dry, wet, slippery, uneven, rough, steep terrain, hills, and slopes; exposure to noise, dust, grease, and all types of weather and temperature conditions. Exposure to roadways, traffic, and the public. Reasonable accommodation, if available, may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.
**Physical**
The team member must have sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a field environment; to walk up to 5 miles per day, stand for prolonged periods of time, sit, and operate a motor vehicle for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, run, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp and make repetitive hand, arm and shoulder movement in the performance of daily duties; carry, push and/or pull light to heavy amounts of weight, frequently lift up to 12 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 60 lbs. ; to operate assigned equipment and vehicles; ability to verbally communicate to exchange information with public; ability to see and hear in normal range with or without correction; operate assigned field equipment, including handheld computer, range finder, fyrake, water backpack, shovel, sign stands, traffic cones, and other traffic control equipment.
