About the role


CloudBees is seeking a Field Marketing Manager to lead both the strategy and execution of marketing activities in the EMEA Central (DACH) & North (BENELUX, UK & I) regions, with a specific focus on German speaking countries. This role will encompass demand generation, localization, and overall marketing leadership for these regions.


We’re looking for someone  -capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understands how to develop, own and drive pipeline generation strategies as well as build programs to accelerate sales cycles and close business. 


Reporting to the Director of EMEA/APAC Marketing, you will work closely with the regional sales teams and corporate functions to build and orchestrate campaigns and tactics for their ideal target customer.

We’re looking for a field  marketer highly knowledgeable of the DACH region and market, with a demonstrable track record of building, localising and executing field marketing programs, in partnership with sales, business development, and marketing teams who are all focussed on generating pipeline leading to revenue. You will develop a deep understanding of our buyer personas, target accounts, partners, customer advocates, and the value CloudBees brings to our customers and community. This is a high impact role  and will drive awareness, demand, pipeline, and bookings and will suit someone who is goal driven, motivated and passionate above demand focussed marketing.  


What You’ll Do

Lead demand generation efforts to build, nurture and accelerate pipeline by driving awareness and engagement across the EMEA region.Localise global marketing campaigns to resonate with the regional target audience by ensuring messaging and content are culturally relevant, communicate CloudBees value propositions to achieve the stated results .Act as the overall marketing lead for the region, coordinating with global and regional marketing teams to align strategies and execute region specific initiatives.Work proactively and collaboratively with the Marketing, Sales, and BD teams to execute a strong field marketing strategy that nurtures our pipeline from early to late stage and closed/won.Track, measure, and share the impact of every program, experiment, and failure (they happen!).Manage overall budget and spend to achieve individual, team and regional goals while delivering a significant return on the $ and capturing the methodologies and success factors  that we know close deals.Partner with the sales team and contribute to territory and account planning.Be an advocate for your region’s sales team and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.Ensure field marketing contributes productively to the quarterly business and other reviews as and when they come up.Work closely with our channel partner  team to build strong comarketing relationships within our technology and channel partners. The Partner Marketing strategy will include co-selling campaigns, 1st and 3rd party events, and regional field sales engagements.Leverage data to make intelligent, informed recommendations, decisions, and forecasts regarding our demand generation strategies, target account plans, and paid investments.Drive new levels of cross channel and integrated marketing and ensure our marketing activities are aligned and planned well in advance.Be agile as technology and DevOps is constantly evolving and changing, and sometimes may require a change in the region's marketing strategies or tactics. 

Role Requirements

Typically 5-8 years of relevant Field and/or Partner Marketing experience. You’ve had an interesting career to date, working for established companies or scrappy startups. You know what great looks like.3 to 5 years of working in the B2B SaaS space.Experience working with and supporting international sales teams.Bi-lingual, German & English speaking. Ability to develop close, trusting relationships with sales as well as collaborate effectively with marketing and product.Solution and outcomes mindedness to address the complexities and challenges that arise from being a part of an organisation with a market growth focus. You are outcome driven, analytical, customerfirst, and have a track record of executing creative, impactful field marketing programs for executive and practitioner audiences.You have a proven track record of working collaboratively with prospects, customers, sales, marketing, and the exec team to impact early and late stage pipeline.As a member of an organisation with an international footprint the flexibility to accommodate internal and external meetings outside of regular office hours as and when required. Travel to support events built into your marketing plan may be required as appropriate. Occasionally travel may be required for company forums and events.You set a high bar in everything you and your team do  quality, creativity, execution, productivity, and balance.You’re extremely detail oriented and organised, and able to meet deadlines.Experience with supporting both direct sales and channel sales teams.A sense of humour, willingness to be your authentic self, and a deep belief in being human first is a big plus.
