Field Marketing Specialist

Location: Saudi Arabia, Riyadh 

 

To accompany our exponential growth in the Middle East region, Fortinet EMEA Marketing is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist in the IT Industry to help further expand our customer and market footprint in the market by focusing on brand awareness as well as lead and pipeline building activities. The right candidate for this role combines strategic thinking and tactical execution skills. 

 

Based in our Riyadh office, this position will report to the Field Marketing Manager based in Dubai, UAE. The Field Marketing Specialist will be working closely with sales to understand their targets, priorities and key accounts and collaborate with various EMEA marketing departments.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

Work with sales and Field Marketing to develop, enhance and execute a field marketing plan which best supports business growth and is designed to drive brand awareness, leads, demand and pipeline. The Field Marketing Plan should be in line with corporate, EMEA and the regions sales and marketing priorities and messaging, translating strategy into actions.  Develop and drive integrated marketing programs which consist of best practice marketing mix elements that generate quality prospects Leverage and localize a repeatable and systematic set of programs to drive demand with the right balance between in-country and global campaigns  Manage key marketing activities like lead gen campaigns, events ,industry conferences and sponsorships  Manage and tracking of results/ROI per spend Manage relationships with agencies  Provide reporting and analysis on Field Marketing Activities Work closely with different Fortinet teams (e.g. Business Development, EMEA Demand Center, creative) on closed-loop lead generation processes around direct marketing activities, database segmentation and web initiatives among others  General coordination of events such as end customer days and industry conferences. This includes the preparation and follow-up for each event Work closely with sales team on VLE & Enterprise patch to build ā€œCā€ level connects Social Media usage and knowledge Handling channel activities and managing them with key partners and Distributors  Work together with the Regional and Local Channel Directors, defining the channel marketing tactics to leverage to support the success of Saudi and measuring ROI of the channel events.

 

Candidate Profile and Experience

 

At Least 5 years of experience in IT Marketing/high-tech, preferably IT-Security  Minimum 5 years working directly with field sales and sales executives on marketing programs Experience in marketing program management  Demonstrated success in Field Marketing for a high-tech vendor meeting the revenue goals of sales teams  Complete understanding and proven track record across all field marketing tactics, with integrated campaigns and communications, to drive the pipeline: digital campaigns, call out campaigns, event management, high-touch tactics, etc.  Excellent English written and verbal communication skills  Strong business acumen and work ethic  Ability to work cross-functionally to plan and execute successful marketing programs  Ability to manage the planning and execution of programs in a deadline-driven environment  Positive attitude, self-motivated, result- and data-driven, creative, responsive and ability to set priorities  A self-motivated, independent thinker who can drive and deliver defined projects and meaningful content  Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Competitive, self-starter that is motivated to succeed  Must be metric driven and a strong analytic thinker. Ability to influence and build cross functional relationships - Knowledge of CRM/sales/email automation systems and how to maximize them for efficient lead distribution and reporting mainly using SFDC  Proficient use of MS Office applications
