Your key responsibilities
The Field Medical Partner is a field-based medical expert responsible for fostering relationships with Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of scientific information and insights that support medical and clinical strategy.
The Field Medical Partner is expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in all scientific communications and interactions, continuously update their scientific knowledge and skills to stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, proactively identify opportunities for scientific engagement and collaboration, advocate for the company’s products and research initiatives within the
scientific and medical communities. They also work in cross-border collaborations in affiliates, and global to leverage our collective knowledge and resources and to achieve primarily the squad priorities, outcomes, and ambitions.
Main Accountabilities
● As a medical (field-based) point of contact for Key TAEs within a therapeutic area by owning medical/scientific relationships with them.
● Establishing scientific collaborations and value-based partnerships with therapeutic area experts (TAEs)
● Develop a deep understanding of the patient journey and medical ecosystem;
-Derive actionable insights that inform strategy.
-Proactively drive co-creation and delivery of purposeful medical activities that deliver value to the medical community and transform clinical practice.
● Develops broad medical & scientific expertise, often across multiple molecules or disease areas, and drives evidence generation and scientific exchange activities.
● Be a single medical affairs contact person of TAEs for clinical programs, including but not limited to IIS and clinical studies in strong collaboration with TA Medical enabler.
● Work closely with Medical Partner on the affiliate knowledge exchange and execution of medical activities (e.g. Advisory Board Meeting, Roche Initiated Medical Education etc.) and collaborate Squad team to contribute to the Squad team objectives.
● Maintain a broad understanding of relevant present portfolio and future pipeline to address future ecosystem and patient journey solutions.
● Comply with SOPs, Code of Conduct including Symphony Principle, and all relevant regulations.
Who you are
● University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing and Biology. Strongly preferred advanced degree.
● Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the therapeutic area in a medical affairs of pharmaceutical industry
● Experience in field medical preferred
● In-depth knowledge on science and clinical aspects of the therapeutic area
● Deep understanding of R&D and medical affairs strategies in the responsible therapeutic area
● Good understanding of clinical trials and associated regulations (ICH-GCP and local regulations)
● Knowledge in Real World Evidence (RWE), digital tools for customer engagement
● Strength in agile working principles and methodologies
● Proficient verbal and written English communication skills.
