Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $35-40/hourLocation: Platteville, COWork Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Assignment Duration: 12 months+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance, 401K, Holidays and PTO Responsibilities Maintain protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities in which we operate and or transport our products, as our highest priority Assist field network and enterprise network teams as needed for secure, performant, reliable, and efficient end-to-end network services for ICS, Automation, Drilling, and any other critical business unit network servicesDeeply engage with business units to ensure deadlines and objectives are well understood and metAssist with field network project lifecycle including initiating, planning, budgeting, executing, procurement, documentation, closing, and continuous improvementCoordinate asset and inventory management for field network infrastructureSet and achieve goals necessary for the optimization of field network focusing on people, processes and technologyUtilize IT Service Management tools to manage incidents and requests are met or exceeded24/7 availability while on-call, including use of a cell phone off hours support and weekend on-call statusModel a strong work ethic Qualifications College graduate in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field preferred; Equivalent work experience pertaining to information technologies and / or telecommunications may be acceptableAble to apply academic technical knowledge to solve problems and understands concepts of emerging technology and strategyDemonstrates good decision-making skills. Uses provided information in decision making and problem solvingUnderstands the concepts of scope and time management and is able to apply them on simple projects. Successfully participates in assigned project workCommunication skills (written and verbal English is a must). Ability to work well with people and assess each customer’s individual needs. Need to be able to communicate with people and businesses outside of the organization and company, which may include business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers.  Experience working with on-site construction teams and managing general contractor and vendor relationshipsExperience designing supporting, deploying or designing networks.  Experience with RF, communications towers, and / or any telecommunications facilities design, construction, and start up/commissioning processesExperience working on structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure including design and installation best practices, and industry standards.  Experience working with internet networking technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and optical transport technologiesExperience with process improvement and automating repetitive workflows with softwareTrack record of solving problems, setting strategic direction, and executing tacticallyExperience working wth on-site construction teams and managing general contractor and vendor relationships
