Field Operations Global Procurement Potato Associate Analyst
Overview This is a great opportunity to join The Global Procurement Potato team in Frito-Lay North America as a Field Operations Global Procurement Potato Associate Analyst. This role is based in Plano, TX. The selected candidate will support all potato commercial team activities, focusing on contract management and grower performance analyses for Frito-Lay North America. Key responsibilities include data management / collection, and analysis from Potato Suppliers, Manufacturing Plants, Transportation, and the Potato Purchasing group to develop optimal solutions for daily business supply challenges. Additionally, this position will support the strategic execution of our SDD (Strategic Deep Dive) agenda. Responsibilities The Potato Purchasing and Strategic Supply group is a collaborative and dynamic team that values innovation, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement. Team members work closely with various stakeholders, including Potato Suppliers, Manufacturing Plants, and the Transportation team, to ensure seamless operations and optimal supply chain solutions. The team fosters a supportive environment where knowledge sharing and professional growth are encouraged. Regular team meetings and cross-functional projects provide opportunities for team members to contribute their expertise and develop new skills. Responsibilities: Support Field Buyers by executing potato contract management for all North American growing areas. Conduct RFQ simulation modeling to support contract negotiations. Collect and analyze data related to field operations, PC manufacturing sites, transportation, and other reports to support KPI management with growers and the commercial team. Assist in financial analysis for potato growing to support price planning and forecasting. Track and analyze grower performance using digital tools and dashboards. Support the Potato Grower Management process, including performance reviews with growers, covering key business topics such as PEP+, digital compliance, quality, and service performance. Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 - $100,500. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, AgEconomics, Agriculture, Engineering, Business, Accounting, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field. Strong strategic, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to focus on the big picture while managing details. Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Production Agriculture. Knowledge of raw material supply chains. Background in Agronomy, Supply Chain or Procurement of Direct materials. Advanced degree preferred. LSS certification is a plus. Strong project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement. Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
