We have an opportunity for Field Operations Manager position within our Market Access and Government Affairs team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities related to the field team activities. The role involves managing and coordinating the execution of market access strategies, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency. The incumbent will report to the Field Lead. The key responsibilities of a Field Operations Manager include: + Implement operational plans and processes to develop the tactical planning via the Road Map development and to support tracking of field team activities against key deliverables and timelines. + Lead the ACE corporate initiative with the field team; ensure team is adhering to key metrics with Veeva; identify opportunities to incorporate key access stakeholders beyond physicians into Veeva for optimal planning and monitoring. Identify ways to leverage efficiencies with Veeva to centralize planning processes. Work with the Customer Excellence teams to develop and optimize programs, tools, dashboards, and processes for a flawless implementation; develop training tools as needed; train new field team members. + Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, medical affairs, and AbbVie Care to ensure alignment and coordination of market access initiatives. + Manage budgets for market access operations. + Set up and manage a centralized location to store all active files for use by the field team and key head office teams that support the field; store inactive or final files on share point. + Monitor key trends and conduct environmental scans to support strategic planning for private and public markets as required. + Support in the development of standardized key performance metrics for the field teams + Ad hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Education / Experience Required: + Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science or Health care. Related or equivalent field may also be considered + Ideal candidate would have 3 years of field based experiences in the pharmaceutical industry + Understanding of the Canadian health care system including public and private market access reimbursement environment and processes + Experience with CRM systems and ideally Veeva. + Proven experience managing complex projects. + Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and navigate complex matrix of internal stakeholders. Essential Skills & Abilities + Ability to work in a matrix environment and achieve results within a cross-functional team. + Solid communication, interpersonal and project management skills. + Strong analytical skills with a capability to think strategically. + Detail oriented (i.e., thorough, accurate, organized, and productive) + A professional, responsible, and collaborative team player. + Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment with positivity. + Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint.
