About the Role:

The Manager of Field Roster Management and Territory Alignments plays a critical role in ensuring the effective design, implementation, and maintenance of Neurocrine’s field force structure. This individual will oversee all aspects of zip-code level field alignments, territory structures, and roster management, partnering with cross-functional teams to support the strategic objectives of the organization. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of field force territory design, project management skills, expertise in field operations, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver results efficiently and accurately.

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):

Lead the zip-code level alignment process for all Neurocrine field teams, ensuring quarterly updates are implemented accurately and delivered to downstream users and systems in a timely manner

Develop, communicate, and train field employees on the quarterly zip code change request process

Responsible for developing and executing Neurocrine’s Field Alignment strategy

Partner with commercial leadership to design and implement territory size and structure for new and existing field teams, as needed

Partner with Data Management and other key functions to find opportunities to include different data sets within field alignments and Index

Ensure all alignment changes align with organizational strategies and are appropriately documented

Serve as the owner of Neurocrine’s Field Roster, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards

Collaborate with HR to streamline the process for tracking commercial roster changes, including new hires, leaves of absence (LOAs), and terminations

Maintain and track different reporting needs for field rosters and alignments, serving as the main point of contact for related requests

Manage the quarterly zip-code change process for all field teams, ensuring updates are accurate and strategically aligned

Own and maintain processes for reporting and requests related to field territory structures, ZTTs (Zip-to-Territory tables), and rosters

Be the lead for field force state licensing project for the Field Operations team

Ensure compliance with all regulations and company policies in the development and execution of field force alignments

Act as a subject matter expert on field alignment best practices, providing training and support to field teams as needed

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including HR, Commercial Field Leadership, Data Management and IT to support field operations

Develops and provides stakeholders with ad-hoc reports related to field alignments and field reporting

Assist the Field Operations team with ad hoc projects related to field reporting, Veeva CRM, training, and incentive compensation

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, marketing, business administration or related field and 6+ years relevant sales / CRM systems administration, with significant years experience with Veeva/Saleforce.com, sales analytics and operations experience within the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry OR

MBA or equivalent preferred and 4+ years of similar experience noted above

Has knowledge of best practices in the functional discipline and familiarity with the broader underlying concepts of related business disciplines

Works to improve tools and processes within functional area

Ability to work as part of and lead multiple teams

Exhibits leadership skill and ability, typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams

Excellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

Sees broader picture, impact on multiple departments/divisions

Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency

Excellent project management skills

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to lead projects effectively with multiple departments/stakeholders in a pharmaceutical company such as, but not limited to, multiple field teams, marketing, marketing operations, field operations, IT, commercial operations, and compliance/legal

Experience working with field alignments and field alignment tools

Experience working with relational databases, data warehouse systems and familiarity with third party biopharma data vendors (e.g., Intercontinental Medical Statistics (IMS), Symphony, Fingertip), stewarding master data management (MDM) systems

Ability to successfully manage and partner with key vendors, which includes (but not limited to), budget tracking, performance tracking, and holding vendors accountably to deliverables

Ability to extract VEEVA data and create ad-hoc reports for quality checks, analyses, and reporting

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and PowerPoint

Strong knowledge/skill using Field Territory Design software; JTD Experience preferred

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $130,100.00-$188,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
