The Field Operations Specialist is responsible for executing and optimizing labor planning initiatives to ensure appropriate staffing levels across field operations. This role requires independent judgment and strategic decision-making to support workforce planning, field alignment, and operational efficiency. As a key liaison between the Home Office and Field Operations, the Specialist manages critical processes and ensures seamless communication. This position reports directly to the Labor Planning Manager but is expected to work independently and make decisions within assigned responsibilities.
What would you do in this role?
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ **Labor Planning & Position Management:** Oversee workforce and position management for all Field Operations, ensuring alignment with business needs.
+ **Field Optimization:** Lead strategic field alignment initiatives to enhance efficiency and address local market demands.
+ **Operational Strategy Support:** Assist Labor Management in analyzing and improving workforce operations through data-driven decision-making.
+ **Process Management:** Manage and streamline internal operational activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
+ **Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:** Act as a **trusted advisor** and liaison between the Home Office and Field Operations, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of key initiatives.
+ **Project & Initiative Ownership:** Lead and contribute to projects related to labor planning, field alignment, and operational efficiencies.
+ **Administrative Oversight:** Perform high-level administrative duties necessary for labor planning execution and field operations support.
**Qualifications & Skills:**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
+ **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail operations, field management, labor planning, communications, or client management.
+ **Decision-Making & Autonomy:** Strong ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and make informed decisions on workforce planning and operational processes.
+ **Communication & Leadership:** Excellent ability to interact with and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
+ **Project Management:** Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
+ **Analytical & Strategic Thinking:** Ability to analyze labor data, generate insights, and develop action plans to improve workforce efficiency.
+ **Technical Proficiency:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ **Flexibility & Travel:** Ability to travel, including overnight stays, as needed.
