Job Overview
As a Fishing Field Operator I, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to commercial fishing operations.
Responsibilities
Operating and maintaining fishing equipment, such as nets, traps, and lines, to catch fish and other marine life. Sorting, cleaning, and storing the catch according to established procedures and regulations. Assisting with the loading and unloading of fishing vessels. Performing routine maintenance tasks on fishing vessels and equipment, such as cleaning decks, repairing nets, and checking engines. Adhering to safety protocols and regulations related to fishing operations. Keeping accurate records of catch data, including species, quantities, and locations. Assisting with the navigation and operation of fishing vessels under the supervision of experienced crew members.Skills
Basic knowledge of fishing techniques and equipment. Ability to work long hours in physically demanding conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Willingness to work in a team environment and cooperate with other crew members.Qualifications
Minimum 0-1+ years of related experience High school diploma or equivalent. Good communication level and English speaking and writing. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy equipment and working in outdoor conditions. Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, as required. Valid driver's license Willingness to travel and work at various well sites as needed.#LI-MD1
