The Field Operations Controller is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of all aspects of the dealer’s retail and wholesale plans. This includes developing and disseminating necessary tools and aids to ensure accurate and timely communication with individual dealers. Develop and deliver regular (e.g., weekly, monthly, quarterly) performance reports, utilizing various tools and formats (e.g., dashboards, spreadsheets, presentations) to keep the dealer network and internal stakeholders informed of key performance indicators (KPIs) and overall progress.
**POSITION DETAILS**
**Responsibilities / Accountabilities**
+ Calculate and issue monthly Dealer objectives and the PBR calculator.
+ Maintain the Sales Dashboard in cooperation with GBS. Contribute to the accuracy and effectiveness of organizational reporting by ensuring data integrity across all reports (daily, weekly, monthly) and driving continuous improvements to dashboards and reporting tools.
+ Liaise with Brand and Marketing to prepare and issue a comprehensive Retail Plans Letter and distribute to field staff and Dealer network.
+ Understanding and managing all aspects of Sales Forecasting (Global Dealer Business Planning -GDBP tool.
+ Full ownership of the working-stock-levels system (WSL) – including maintenance.
+ Data submission to Lightstone – NAAMSA.
+ Maintain all GDBP, WSL and VISTA dealer related system updates (VISTA in conjunction with Distribution Controller).
+ Conduct training and manage training material of Sales staff on GDBP, WSL, Lightstone and Objectives setting and tools available for dealer communication.
+ Grant, maintain and audit access to GDBP for dealers and internal users.
**PERFORMANCE MEASURES/ SUCCESS CRITERIA**
+ Order bank alignment with allocations.
+ Dealer allocation aligned with historical sales rates = minimizing Company inventory and getting the right vehicle to the customer on time.
+ Dealer stock planning in line with agreed stock days.
+ Upskilling dealer and internal staff on the systems to ensure order bank alignment to customer requirements.
+ Sales dashboard accuracy and alignment to market requirement that will enable decision making.
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES (KSA)**
+ Passion for numbers, analysis, statistic and creative ways to turn data into information.
+ Accuracy is everything - no room for error.
+ Deadline driven.
+ Advanced Excel user – ideally proficient with macros and VBA.
+ Proficiency in database tools such as Alteryx and ClickView is a distinct advantage.
+ Understanding of Ford sales systems such as VISTA and SEER is an advantage.
+ Clear and concise communication skills.
+ Understanding of the automotive field operations environment.
+ Ability to comfortably and credibly present to groups of people.
+ Strong writing skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE**
+ 3 Year Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent.
+ Formal MS Excel software training is an advantage.
+ 3 - 5 Years of relevant experience .
+ Automotive and Dealership experience is desired but not essential
