Wood’s Oil, Gas, & New Energies business has an exciting opportunity for a Field Piping Designer IV to work at our Midland, TX office and field locations. This will be a short term role (about 6 months, with the possibility of added work) that will focus on supporting brownfield surface facilities retrofits, expansions, and debottlenecking projects in the mechanical/piping discipline. Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood, now or in the future.
Local candidates preferred, no per diem or relocation are available for this role. No outside agencies.

As a Field Piping Designer IV, you will be responsible for developing piping layouts and designs for brownfield projects, including pipeline capacity expansion and debottlenecking, crude oil separation, water treatment, and mechanical retrofits. You will conduct site walkdowns, develop mark-ups, and create as-built documentation to ensure the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
