As a Senior Director/Director of North America GTM Field Programs (Financial Services vertical), you will act as a trusted advisor to Field GTM leaders (Industry, Sales & Field Engineering), partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to design and implement targeted programs that drive Databricks pipeline, revenue, and adoption within key Financial Services segments & sub-verticals..
Key stakeholders are at the VP+ level, and will include GTM teams such as Sales, Field Engineering, Industries, Sales Strategy & Operations, Enablement, Marketing, Data Science, and Partners teams (SI, ISV, Cloud). The role combines the creative process of designing prescriptive programs and strategies, with effective operationalization to ensure impactful field execution and accelerate growth, propelling innovation in Data & AI technologies tailored to the unique needs of the Financial Services sector.
The impact you will have:
Drive Financial Services GTM strategy and field program execution by synthesizing cross-functional input, customer insights, and market trends. Advise VP+ level Industry GTM, Sales & Field Engineering leaders, partnering with key stakeholders to engage decision-makers within Financial Services organizations. Provide data-driven insights and growth opportunity recommendations to Sales and Executive leadership for the Financial Services market. Design, build, and execute field programs that generate pipeline, accelerate consumption & revenue, and increase adoption of the Databricks platform. Orchestrate cross-functional teams, selling tools, and data science to deliver repeatable, scalable, and measurable programs that drive substantial and incremental productivity & business lift for the field. Harmonize GTM strategies across teams and regions, ensuring cohesive execution and alignment with the regulatory and compliance requirements of the Financial Services sector.Responsibilities
Design, build, and execute GTM Field Programs that align with the overall sales strategy for the Financial Services vertical. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of programs, providing guidance and support to field teams. Monitor and analyze program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize results. Manage program prioritization and timelines, ensuring that the most impactful programs are launched on time and considering planning and seasonality.What we look for:
10+ years of prior experience in GTM Field Programs, management consulting, and/or, with a proven ability to lead and deliver on strategic and tactical business objectives within enterprise software. Strong background in Data & AI technologies, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic business outcomes specifically relevant to the Financial Services industry. Demonstrated leadership and ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency in Salesforce reporting, Excel, and data analysis. SQL or Python skills are a plus. Excellent communication and public speaking skills, capable of delivering executive-level presentations and influencing C-suite stakeholders, with the ability to tailor messaging to resonate with Financial Services executives. Proven experience working with or within the Financial Services industry, understanding its unique challenges, regulations, and market dynamics. Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
