Job Summary: Air Systems Inc. is looking for a Field Programmer & Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position reporting to the Field Engineering Supervisor. This position will work with our clients on creating a database of control programs and systems, programming, and installing the Control Systems for the clients’ buildings. This is a non-exempt position and is subject to overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
Creating Controls Program and Systems Database Working with Installation Team to cross check and document correct installation of wiring and control devices Testing of control programs Integrate system to on-board micro-processors Documentation of systems’ compliance with design Provide control drawings to engineering/drafting group Provide test documentation to customer
Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred 1+ Years DDC Controls with Industry Experience a Plus For the right candidate no experience necessary and we will train Ability to read construction blue prints and electrical schematics Knowledge of HVAC control systems required Knowledge of electrical schematics required Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks Strong knowledge of MS Office, Windows XP, file structure, basic TCP/IP network structure and web navigation Knowledge of Visio a plus but not required Knowledge of Automated Log Controls, Tridium Niagara, Distech Controls and/or other DDC Controls Clean Driving Record Required Able to lift 30 lbs.
