Field Project Manager

UFP Site Built is the leader in designing and manufacturing value-added wood and non-wood products for the construction industry. We offer a wide variety of wood structural components, aluminum decks and rails, and light gauge steel structural components.

This is a non-commissioned, bonus-eligible, salary position. 

Job Summary

The Field Project Manager is responsible for maintaining relationships with current Multi-Family and Commercial construction accounts and develops new relationships with potential accounts. Works under the direction of an Account Manager or the Regional Sales Manager; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base

Regularly visits jobsites in accordance with proposed schedule and resolves job-site issues and concerns

Provide accurate market feedback on competitors, service requirements

Resolves customer issues/problems on a timely basis

Identifies customers' needs and presents solutions by recommending potential product enhancements or modifications

Assists Account Managers in generating new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers

Monitors sales market in assigned region

Prepares various reports as required

Performs other duties as required (job drive-bys, job setup, pre-con meeting attendance, etc.)

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma; preferred bachelor's degree

Preferred one to three years of experience in construction or related area.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

Preferred manufacturing background, but not required

Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines

Compensation & Benefit Information

Salary Pay Range: $55,000-75,000 annually dependent on experience

Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
