Job Description
This role involves managing multiple rework projects across over a dozen global warehouse locations. The primary focus is to distribute rework instructions to impacted warehouses, track associated costs, update rework timelines, and ensure closure upon completion. Opportunities exist to document rework instructions, provide guidance on procurement of rework tools, and assist with short-term labor needs.
Key Responsibilities
Global Rework Management:
Facilitate communication of rework instructions, tools, and impacted products to global warehouse teams.Build and maintain relationships with rework staff and warehouse leadership across global locations.Cost Management:
Document and share estimated rework costs with the Supplier Recovery team.Track all rework costs and ensure they are applied to the appropriate general ledger.Collaborate with finance on rework cost reconciliation after completion.Communication:
Generate and distribute reports detailing ongoing rework activities, projected completion times, estimated costs, and impacts on inventory and backorders.Attend regional quality and warehouse operations meetings to update stakeholders on rework progress.Monitor System Activity:
Collaborate with warehouse teams to review products on quality hold and assess necessary corrective actions.Maintain accurate rework data in the JDE ERP system to ensure proper communication of timelines.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with legal, supply chain, finance, product teams, and customer care to ensure smooth rework execution.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Timely Completion: Meet rework timelines to minimize operational disruptions.Cost Management: Ensure rework costs are kept within budget and tracked accurately.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.Working Environment
This position is considered hybrid, meaning in-person in Waterloo, WI at least three days per week, with travel required to various warehouse locations.Required Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.In-depth knowledge of JDE or similar ERP systems.Project management experience or PMP certification.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Leadership experience.Preferred Qualifications:
Customer service experience.Warehouse operations knowledge.Bike shop experience.Experience in quality control, field quality, or service.Experience with lean manufacturing or process optimization is a plus.Knowledge of supply chain operations or warehouse management systems (WMS) can be beneficial.Trek Benefits:
