To support that challenge, the NA Seeds Development Trialing team is currently seeking a Field Research Equipment Operational Effectiveness Intern in Slater, IA. As an intern in this role, you will be responsible for defining/improving the pre-season preventative maintenance program for research level yield trialing equipment as well as defining the on-hand parts inventory required to reduce in season operational downtime. You will be provided the opportunity of being exposed to yield trial research activities in order to understand how they impact equipment readiness, allowing you to apply your academic background and experience to help Syngenta drive improvements in fleet operating efficiency.

Education & Experience:
Requires a High School diploma or equivalentMust be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Ag Business, Precision Agriculture, Ag Mechanized Systems, or another closely related field of studyMust be a current student continuing education upon completion of internship (graduating on or after December 2025)Prefer a student with Junior or Senior standingMust have a valid Driver's LicenseAll applicants must be eligible to work in the USPreferred Requirements:
