We have an opening for a field sales engineer who can identify and recommend suitable electronic component solutions in a wide variety of electronic systems. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable collaborating with companies that may be involved in RF electronics, power electronics, and automotive electronic systems. Customers will be predominantly in the Midwest, especially Michigan and Indiana.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nMeet with users and potential users of Coilcraft products concerning applications and design challenges, focusing heavily on the automotive industry. Recommend appropriate solutions.\nPromote beneficial partnerships with other manufacturers through cooperation on reference designs.\nWork with Coilcraft's operations and engineering teams to support customers' specific needs.\nProvide Coilcraft with market intelligence gained through interactions with users and potential users.\nIdentify potential new requirements for Coilcraft products.\n\n

Requirements:\n\nBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Education in electrical engineering or physics is preferred.\nExperience working with customers in the automotive industry is a plus.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nExcellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)\nWillingness to travel.\n\n
