Field Sales Manager Sweden

Job Description:

Over all the position

This position is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing field sales team, foster engagement and enhance competencies to strengthen Mars' market position in Sweden. 
Drive in-store success by coaching each sales representative to achieve sales targets through excellence in execution, customer collaboration & teamwork. 
As part of the Nordic Field Sales Leadership Team, contribute to shaping and driving the Nordic Field Sales Agenda while actively engaging in the broader leadership team to support strategic growth and cross-functional collaboration.
 

What are we looking for?

University or college degree. Or +5years in Field sales with Team Leadership.

Fluent in native language (Swedish) and Fluent in English.

Great in Office Packages: PPT, Excel to create power point presentations & do weekly analysis etc.

People Management experience.

Availability to travel 60% of time is needed.

Account management experience would be a plus.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Business

Commercial Excellence & Execution

Deliver commercial targets and key KPIs for field sales (e.g., GSV/NSV, display vol, Perfect Store, NQC, visit frequency, coverage compliance, time utilization, sellout etc).Execute and embed Nordic field sales strategies, ensuring excellence in in-store execution (including Perfect Store).Continuously track, analyze, and optimize field sales performance, ensuring alignment with objectives and compliance standards.Manage field sales costs while driving efficiency.Contribute to the Nordic Field Sales Agenda by sharing insights, aligning execution, driving synergies across markets and cross-functional collaboration.

People Leadership & Ways of Working

Attract, develop, and retain top talent through recruitment, succession planning, and continuously development of associates.Foster a high-performance, engaged team culture (MAS) by leading with inclusivity and role modeling the Five Principles of Mars.Drive continuous learning through on-the-job coaching, follow-up on sales training, and capability-building aligned with Mars’ selling competencies.Cultivate a customer-centric mindset, continuously improving customer engagement and collaboration and lead execution of annual customer survey action plans at the store level.Plan and lead impactful sales meetings in partnership with the other Field Sales Manager and Field Effectiveness Manager.Optimize third-party merchandising and sales resources, managing local budgets effectively.Engage in the Nordic Field Sales Leadership Team, collaborating on Nordic strategy and Ways of Working and sharing best practices across markets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Activation

Act as the voice of the field, providing insights and practical input to internal stakeholders.Lead and optimize marketing activation at store level, including POS material planning, campaign execution, store events, and sampling activities.Drive alignment and synergies across the Nordics, collaborating with the RTM Developer and Field Effectiveness Manager and other Nordic Field Sales Managers to enhance ways of working and efficiency.
