Field Sales Representative - Industrial
Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesMettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Field Sales Representative for its California region responsible for the selling a wide variety of industrial products, software, and services in the industrial weighing and automation/control markets. You will be responsible to sell a comprehensive portfolio consisting of low- and high-end capital equipment with short- and long-term sales cycles, both directly and through other channels such as OEMs, System Integrators and Engineering firms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must possess the ability to develop account penetration plans, create opportunities through one's own actions, and aggressively pursue sales goalsUtilize company resources to prepare for sales activities and account engagement actionsProactively engage assigned accounts offering a wide variety of solutions and servicesDevelop, expand, and refresh relationships at assigned accounts through a network of MT employees, distribution partners, and other counterparts across your accountsPrepare and deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers. This includes presenting over a virtual platform and in personPartner with company sales counterparts to expand overall account knowledgeOrganize, plan and schedule utilization of selling time to provide optimum effective account and territory coverageDevelop innovative sales strategies to achieve set sales objectivesRoutinely update sales pipeline, enter CRM changes in a timely manner, and stay ahead of basic administrative requirements.Other duties may be assignedWhat You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree with emphasis on Engineering, Industry and Technology or Business Administration is preferred1 - 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record in the industrial marketplace is requiredGood to have Industrial experience with automation, process controls or capital equipment Knowledge of PLC/control systems and sales experience with OEM's, System Integrators, Engineering houses and Contractors is helpfulMust possess a valid driver’s license Must be willing to travel
