We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Representative/Territory Manager to join our Field Sales team, based in East Melbourne where you will be responsible for a territory of 100+ Veterinary clinics.As the successful candidate, you will drive accelerated growth in the Veterinary channel by taking action to identify & address gaps, ensuring KPI's are consistently hit, but more importantly building long lasting and positive relationships with all new & existing clients (and of course all furry friends).
Please note: this role will also include our Tasmania territory, this will mean that there will be interstate travel required.
What are we looking for?Background in animal or pharmaceutical sales is highly desirable
A Bachelor's degree and/or experience in business-to-business sales
Ability to build relationships with a varied demographic customer base
Veterinary background or qualification (highly desirable)
The ability to travel within state & interstate, to suit the business needs of the territory
Someone passionate and self-motivated to drive for results and maintain strong relationships
Possession of a driver's license and a clean driving record
What will be your key responsibilities?Maintain a high level of understanding of cat & dog nutrition and the Royal Canin Veterinary product range
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key stakeholders within the clinics, whilst identifying new potential customers
Achieve profitable sales growth objectives within assigned territory by utilising strong selling skills whilst developing and understanding customer needs to increase growth of sales
Using clear and influential communication skills to present educational content
Manual handling may be required to merchandise stock, point of sale and build displays, in an effort to increase brand presence in clinic
Collaborate with the broader team and other company associates to provide valuable insights
Attend and participate in trade shows, regional and company meetings/conference calls as required
