Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and motivated Engineer to support the Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) project. This role involves technical oversight, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of ZOLL Medical products and solutions in collaboration with the QAS team. The Engineer will ensure optimal operation, customer satisfaction, and compliance with the specified project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Implementation & Support:
• Lead technical deployment, integration, and configuration of ZOLL Medical devices and systems in collaboration with QAS.
• Ensure all products meet the specific needs of the QAS project, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Product Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
• Provide hands-on maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services for ZOLL devices and systems in the field and the depot repair workshop.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues promptly to maintain optimal system functionality.
The expectation is that you will be servicing equipment in the field, 90% of the time.Travel across Queensland and interstate as required.Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical matters with QAS.
• Foster strong customer relationships through regular communication, proactive service, and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and exceed service expectations.
Training & Knowledge Transfer:
• Deliver technical training sessions to end-users, including paramedics, technicians, and support staff, on the proper use and maintenance of ZOLL equipment.
• Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to support the QAS project.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
• Ensure that all activities comply with relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support the QAS project in meeting all contractual and operational obligations.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably in medical devices, biomedical engineering, or related industry.
• Experience working with emergency medical devices, clinical systems, or similar technologies is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose, repair, and optimize systems and devices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with customers, clients, and internal teams.
• Ability to deliver clear and concise technical training and support materials.
• Demonstrated experience in project support and technical service delivery in a healthcare setting.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs and support activities across Queensland.

• High proficiency in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electro-mechanical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing project priorities.
